NORMAN — Billye Jo Logan was born Sept. 11, 1926, at Lamar to Fred B. Wilcox and Ruby (Duke) Wilcox and passed from this life Wednesday, April 17, 2013, in Norman at the age of 86.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Noble, with Dr. Cleve Haley, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at 3 p.m. at the Wetumka Cemetery under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home in Wetumka.

On May 24, 1946, she was married to Jimmie M. Logan. They owned and operated the On Your Farm Slaughtering business for many years.

Billye relocated to Noble where she attended the First Baptist Church and volunteered in the Peace Makers, a quilting group that made and donated handmade quilts to those in need. She loved fishing, gardening, preserving, reading the Bible and, most of all, spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother, Bradd Wilcox; and a grandson, Michael Findley.

Survivors are her children Elaine McGrath of New Zealand, Larry and Thelma Logan of Mustang, Deanna Findley of Lexington and Wendy and Ken Sykes of Sand Springs; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a sister, Audrey Ramsey of Holdenville; and several other relatives and many friends.
