Ivan Hummel

NORMAN — Ivan Hummel died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013. Ivan was born Dec. 18, 1933, in Moore to Winfred and Jennie (Stone) Hummel.

Ivan married Frances Bradford in 1961, and to this union were born Mark and Rhonda. Ivan married Cathie Hummel, and to this union were born Samantha and Samuel. Ivan was a truck driver.

He delivered food products, gravel, rock and dirt. Ivan also baled hay.

Ivan was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Frances Hummel.

Ivan is survived by son, Mark and wife Susan Hummel and their daughters Mikaila and Annalise; daughters Rhonda and husband Mark Devaney and Samantha Hummel and son Samuel Hummel and wife; as well as his sister, Lillie Deaton; sister, Lois Back; brother, Raymond Hummel; sister, Jennielee and husband Ray Nikkle; and sister, Pearl Jones.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Sunny Lane Funeral Home.

Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the Sunny Lane Funeral Home chapel, with burial following in Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City.
