Janice Elaine Blair

NORMAN — Janice Elaine Blair, affectionately known as “Granny” or “Jack,” 68, of Norman, passed away Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, after a short illness.

She was born Dec. 8, 1944, to Woodrow “Woody” Glen Howard Sr. and Dolly Mae Earlene Patton at Capitol Hill.

She was a loving mother of two daughters and one son. Janice loved to spend time with family, travel, garden, cross stitch and spend time looking at her flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow Glen Howard Sr. and Dolly Mae Earlene Patton; her son, Bobby “Skeet” Dodd (Blair); and nephew, Jerry Justin Edgin.

Janice is survived by two daughters, Becky Blair Dodds of Texas and Cynthia Conrad and husband Dale of Missouri; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; her brother, Woodrow Glen Howard Jr.; her sister, Diane Foster; two nieces; two great-nieces and one great-nephew.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. today at the Lakeside Church of God. Inurnment will be at Norman IOOF Cemetery at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Primrose Funeral Service.
