NORMAN — Patrick Kilgallen, 75, of Noble, passed away Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013. He was born May 23, 1938, in Bronx, N.Y.
Patrick was chief warrant officer IV in the U.S. Army. Following his military career, he worked as a case nurse manager at OUHSC. Patrick also ran student housing at OU.
After he retired in 2005, he loved taking care of his grandkids. Patrick never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife, Donneta Kilgallen; two sons, Patrick Francis Kilgallen and Peter Daniel Kilgallen; three sisters, Mary, Peggy and Dorothy; one brother, Tommy; and a host of nieces and nephews; his life-long friends, Tim Johnson, Eddie Knephsy and James Erickson; and stepchildren, Daniel, Dustin, Toby and LaDonna Simpson; seven stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mary Anne Kilgallen.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Friday at John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel in Moore.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in John M. Ireland Funeral Home chapel in Moore, under their direction.
