NORMAN — Norma “Charli” Brown, of Tuttle, passed away Friday, Nov. 15, 2013. She was born Oct. 12, 1936, in Santa Paula, Calif., to Robert and Opal Lunsford.
Norma was a member of the Snowhill Baptist Church in Tuttle. She was very involved in church and participated in cooking for Falls Creek and other church events. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Internall Association Duncan Certified Ceramics “IADCCT” Teacher. She was also the past president of ALTRUSA and also was in a quilting club and played the piano and organ.
She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Gina Baton; two great-grandchildren, Tommy Barton and CynTina Bacon; first husband, Winfield Bacon; second husband, Jim Liefer; third husband, Sid McClain; and father, Robert Lunsford.
Norma is survived by her husband, Homer Brown; two daughters, Debra Robertson and husband John and Lorri Taylor; son, Jim Liefer and partner Robert; two stepsons, Terrell and Michael Brown; six grandchildren, Kristie Posey, Jamie Senft, Robbie Walker, Kolina Taylor, Vaughn Young and Jared Liefer; six great-grandchildren, Shana Fields, Joshua and James Senft, Kassandra and Xavier Walker and Leah Senft; great-great-grandchild, Levi Fields; mother, Opal Bryant; and two sisters, Ella Ruth Stowe and husband Jim and Judy Potter.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Snowhill Baptist Church, 11 S. Morgan Road in Tuttle.
Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home in Moore.
