NORMAN — Linda Faye Richardson was born to Albert and Rema (Applegate) Tolbert on Nov. 3, 1948, at Visala, Calif. She departed this life Friday, June 7, 2013, at her home in McCloud at the age of 64 years.
Linda graduated from Noble High School in 1967. She and Mr. Glenn Richardson were united in marriage on May 13, 1967, in Noble. They made their home in Norman after Mr. Richardson was discharged from the Navy. They moved to McCloud in 1972.
Linda was employed with Tinker Air Force Base as a contract negotiator for 25 years before her retirement. Linda was a talented artist. She also made ceramic dolls and, being a meticulous seamstress, she also made their clothes. She made her daughter’s wedding dress and clothes and was a wonderful cook, making specialized birthday cakes for her family. She was a member of the Charity Free Will Baptist Church since 1989.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Those who survive her include her husband of 46 years, Glenn of the home; her mother, Rema Tolbert of Noble; her daughter, Cherie Spencer of McCloud; her grandson, Brett Nesmith of McCloud; two sisters, Ellen Tolbert of Noble and Sharon Gray of Norman; and other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at McMahans Funeral chapel.
Visitat will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Interment will be at Noble IOOF Cemetery.
