Mrs. Agnes Frances Burnett

NORMAN — Mrs. Agnes Frances Burnett was born to Vonley and Nettie (Brooks) Thompson on May 10, 1936, at Cumberland, Tenn. She departed this life Friday, June 7, 2013, at the Noble Health Care Center at the age of 77 years.

Mrs. Burnett moved from Norman to Noble in 1998, where she resided until her death. She was employed with OU as an apartment manager for 22 years before her retirement. She enjoyed quilting and sewing but more importantly spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; ex- husband, Curtis Burnett; two sons, Randy and Frankie Burnett; two sisters, Doris and Evelyn; and one grandson, Christopher Hopper.

She is survived by one son, John Burnett; seven daughters, Sally Hopper, Rachel Sipka, Carole Owen, Teresa Johnson, Alice Burnett, Cyndy Hopper and Gina Burnett; one brother, Vernon Thompson; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Noble IOOF Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. today.

Arrangements are by McMahans Funeral Home.
