NORMAN — Robert Leonard Glover, 81, of Norman, passed away Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at the Norman Veterans Center in Norman. He was born June 8, 1932, in Oklahoma City to Robert H. and Alzina (Kenworthy) Glover.
He married Ramona Ellison on April 10, 1955, in Guthrie. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in the Korean War. He received his bachelor’s degree from Central State University and then attended the University of Tennessee, where he received his doctorate in dentistry. Robert loved to read, play golf, flying and go fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Glover in 1984, and his son, Bob Glover in 1999.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Jerene Harnsberger and her husband Randy of Norman; one brother, Phil Glover of Collinsville; and two granddaughters, Melissa Hunter and husband Donovan of Austin, Texas, and Courtney Harnsberger of Norman. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Samuel and Addison Hunter.
Graveside services were Tuesday at Lawrie Cemetery.
Services were under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
