NORMAN — Jerry Keith Jones, 56, passed away May 9, 2013. He was born Sept. 9, 1956, to Margaret and Walter P. Jones in Oklahoma City.
Keith was retired from General Motors where he made numerous friends due to his ability to make anyone laugh in any circumstance. With his CDL, which he earned through GM, he went on to driving a truck after retirement.
Anyone who got the chance to know Keith knew he loved to work.
His love of life, family and friends made him a magnet to whoever was around. There wasn’t anyone who could ever say they were a stranger to Keith Jones and if they did, his infectious smile and energetic personality made you feel like family. He has literally given the shirt off his back to a friend and would lend a hand at any given moment.
From playing with his grandchildren, fishing with his buddies, yard work in the hot summer heat, listening to old black and white films on the radio or sitting around with whoever stopped by to enjoy the evening, Keith absolutely, without a doubt, treasured his family and friends. He will forever and ever and ever be missed and remembered.
We love you, Dad.
