NORMAN — Zola Naomi Scott, 90, of Norman, passed away May 30, 2013. She was born Jan. 31, 1923, in Story, Ark., to Downus & Della Bonner Cooper.
Zola was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Norman. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, knitting and going to church. Zola loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed volunteering at Falls Creek.
She retired in 1984 from Dunns Food Center after 19 years of service. Zola attended the Full Circle Life Enrichment Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Malinda Hair; son, Eddie Scott and wife Terri; grandchildren, Chelly Johnson and husband Jim, Susan Stokes and husband Clayton, Bryan Scott and wife Samantha; great-grandchildren, Gabby Salas, Chris Salas, Ella Worthy, Emalee Scott, Peyton Scott and Reagan Scott; and one sister, Imogene Yow.
Zola is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Lawrence Scott; brothers, Lonnie Cooper, Johnnie Cooper, Vernon Cooper and Rufus Cooper; sisters, Beulah Plesnicher and Etta Hopkins.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel in Moore.
