NORMAN — Frances (Mickey) Clouse was born to Willie and Bertha (Brady) Irwin on March 3, 1939, in Goldsby. She departed this life Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at the Norman Regional Hospital at the age of 73.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at McMahans Funeral chapel.
Mrs. Clouse graduated from Goldsby High School. She married Howard Clouse, who preceded her in death in 2000. Mrs. Clouse had made her home in Norman for 55 years. She was of the Baptist faith. She was employed as a pharmacy technician for the state of Oklahoma for 22 years before her retirement.
She enjoyed puzzles, reading, sewing, crafting and spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard; and one daughter, Carolyn Clouse.
Those who survive her include one daughter, Cynthia “Cyndi” L. Mellor of Colorado Springs, Co.; three brothers, Allen Fussell of Norman, Fred Armstrong of Newcastle and Peter Hutchinson of Louisiana; one sister, Karen Fussell; three grandchildren, Steven Clouse of Purcell, Zachary Sanders of Colorado Springs, Co., and Allison Sanders of Colorado Springs, Co.; great-grandchildren, Kylie of Norman and Abriana of Norman; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today.
Interment will be at Denver Cemetery in Norman.
