Saying it with flowers

NORMAN — Editor, The Transcript:

Periwinkles and Zinnias

Make the Garden bright.

Hyacinth and Larkspur

Are also a pretty sight.

Did you notice that Wisteria

Hangs around all the time?

And Impatiens hang in baskets,

While Bougainvilla loves to climb.

Geraniums are very hardy;

They can always take the heat.

For another touch of color,

Marigolds are hard to beat.

I love the smell of Jasmine,

Sweetening the night time air,

And there’s nothing like a Hibiscus

For showing off the hair.

Among Nature’s greatest blessings

Are the Flowers that bloom in May.

If variety is the spice of life,

It also makes a great bouquet!
