Is the story fact or fiction?

The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — Editor, The Transcript:

Pictures and words do not always tell the story. They are but a snapshot of an experience.

Pictures and words can be manipulated to tell a story — a story processed by the minds and intentions of those who produce them either consciously or subconsciously. They are, once again, processed by the viewer.

Hearing and seeing are impacted by our belief systems, our neurologic makeup, our experiences and probably a host of other factors.

Don Francis processed a photo one way, and I am sure others processed it differently.

The question then has to be asked: To what purpose is Don Francis writing and, for that matter, myself? I leave that to the reader to determine.
