There’s more to the Tea Party

NORMAN — Editor, The Transcript:

Had the guy who wrote the letter sarcastically denigrating the Tea Party and implying their only issue was Obamacare read either George Will or Dana Milbank he probably would have reconsidered!

Dana Milbank, a Democrat sycophant if ever there was one, writes a column on the CBO/Obamacare report that could’ve been headlined: “Live by the CBO, die by the CBO” and then proceeds to make fun (two columns worth) of White House attempts to whitewash the entire thing. It can only remind one of the kid who realized the emperor had no clothes.

And George Will’s column Sunday was scathing. Anyone who can read George’s first paragraph and not read the rest of the piece ... well. He goes thru  Obamacare/CBO, Keystone Pipeline, Syria, unemployment, workforce participation rate; pretty much all Tea Party hot buttons and ends it with two chilling sentences: “So, Obama’s critics should reconsider their assumption that he is cynical. It is his sincerity that is scary.”

I can’t help but add a note about Cleta Mitchell’s testimony in Washington last week on the IRS harassment inquiry (another specific close to home Tea Party concern).  She basically dismissed the entire ongoing inquiry as smoke and mirrors.

Amazing!
