They could tweak it as much as needed along the way. The FRA has been amended 194 times. The Federal Reserve has existed for one purpose and that is to promote and create debt. Here we are 17 trillion dollars in debt, creating digital “money” out of thin air, with our debt increasing at a much faster rate and no end in sight. However, I think there is another type of “end in sight” and it is one that we aren’t going to enjoy.
Now we have the ACA, the Constitutional inverse of the FRA, where the government is taking over something that belongs entirely in the private sector: the responsibility for, and decisions involving, an individual’s own health, the quintessential individual right.
The ACA will end up in a single payer system. Americans can then suffer the long waits to be seen by doctors, like our friends in Canada and Great Britain experience. Americans can also suffer the denial of coverage for those whose infirmities are deemed to be too expensive to address or which do not meet some cost/benefit analysis of the government. We will be faced with the same government that sanctions, condones, and even encourages the taking of human life in the womb controlling our health care decisions for our entire lives. What could possibly go wrong with that?
