NORMAN — Editor, The Transcript:
In a world of drought and despair, yesterday I witnessed a small miracle: After the sudden and isolated thundershower last week, a small watershed received a blessing. This was Clear Creek, which runs under the bridge just past 120th East.
As I made the usual left turn onto State Highway 9 before church, I saw a slim, bright blue stream flowing from beneath the bridge and across the extended mud flats all the way to the edge of water in Thunderbird lake. In a dry year, our water supply got a free gift and a thrill of hope.
