Looking for bridge players

NORMAN — Editor, The Transcript:

Norman is blessed with a great senior citizens center. The staff is excellent and always very helpful. Unfortunately, I never see any advertisements either voluntary by The Transcript or paid for by the city to advertise the many activities available.

I am particularly writing about the bridge game attendance on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 12:15 p.m. Because it is an aging group, we are losing more members than we are gaining. I suspect that most Norman citizens don’t even know about this activity.

We have already had to cancel the Wednesday games because of low attendance and other days are in jeopardy.

It would be appreciated if it could be advertised more regularly, perhaps adding it to the weekly menus published?
