George Will owes California an apology for his numerous columns predicting the state’s impending collapse because of gross mismanagement of public funds.
Will blames state workers and teacher unions, unjustifiable entitlements, servile liberals, Berkeley radicals and pampered elderly gougers for California’s so-called perilous condition.
Now comes a report that Governor Jerry Brown has turned a $60 billion deficit into a $4.4 billion surplus. It looks like Will’s dire prediction is a little premature. California ain’t dead yet.
