NORMAN — Editor, The Transcript:
Let’s go back to a few years ago to (Father) Joe Yed Miller’s letter questioning the use of the word “really.”
When I am hearing 6- and 7-year-olds saying, that is so “random,” to almost anything, I just have to ask myself why. The answers they give are amazing.
We need to listen to the words the children are using. We need to ask them what it means to them, while they are still using words.
In a recent chat with an adult, I received the response, “OMG! another teacher killed by a child, really? In this country, how random.”
Violent children are not born ... we make them. R U listening?
