NORMAN — With a 4-0 victory over Oklahoma State in the second Bedlam game of the season, top-ranked Oklahoma clinched the Big 12 title for the second straight season.
The Sooners (46-4, 14-2) were led Saturday by sophomore Lauren Chamberlain, who went 2 for 4 with a pair of RBIs.
Unlike Friday, when the Sooners used four home runs to defeat the Cowgirls (30-25, 6-11), Oklahoma’s runs came by way of doubles on Saturday, with four Sooners securing extra-base hits.
Senior Michelle Gascoigne picked up the win on Senior Day at Marita Hynes Field, striking out eight in six innings of work to improve to 17-3 on the season.
Keilani Ricketts came into the game in the seventh to close out the contest.
The two teams will wrap up the series at 1 p.m. today in Stillwater.
