All in the family

(Continued)

NORMAN —

“TCU was one of my first offers out of high school. It will be nice to go down there. I've heard they've done some rebuilding to the stadium from the last time I've seen it,” Walker said. “It should be a fun one. I've got family in Fort Worth.”

Stock rising: OU quarterback Landry Jones has thrown for 1,736 yards and 15 touchdowns in just the last four games. Those performances also include a game-winning drive in the final two minutes against West Virginia and another to force overtime against Oklahoma State.

His draft stock certainly appears to be rising as the regular season draws to a close.

“I hope so. I hope I did. I hope they were watching,” Jones said about the NFL general managers who make those draft selections in April. “You think about it every once in a while, but for me that’s not the reason why I came back here this year. I came back to be a senior, to go after a national championship, which now it’s kind of out of our hands, but to be on this team again, impact some guys and just be with my teammates.”
