NORMAN — While Oklahoma’s national championship season is over, not all of the Sooners are finished playing softball.
Several have been drafted by the National Pro Fastpitch League, and catcher Jessica Shults signed a two-year contract on Friday with the USSSA Florida Pride.
While Shults will move on to the pros, several other Sooners will compete for a spot on the national team.
Lauren Chamberlain, Keilani Ricketts and Destinee Martinez will compete at the camp, which begins on Monday. The final roster will be announced June 14.
