OKLAHOMA CITY —
A female was found stabbed to death in a southeast Norman apartment early today, police said.
Officers said they received a call at 3:35 a.m. Saturday from a man who said he needed police at 3653 24th Avenue and that he had just killed someone.
The male caller hung up on the dispatcher. Officers responded to the location and found a female who had apparent knife wounds.
Norman Police have a male subject in custody and have transported him to the Norman Police Department for further questioning. Norman Police Criminal Investigations Division, along with the Crime Scene Unit, continues to investigate the case as a murder. The name of the victim is not being released pending next of kin notification.
