COLE, Okla. —
Authorities have released the name of a woman who was found dead inside a home in Cole.
McClain County Sheriff Don Hewett says the body is that of 24-year-old Rachelle Flowers. Hewett says the cause of death will be determined by the state medical examiner — but said the death is considered “very suspicious.”
Hewett told reporters that two deputies discovered the body Wednesday afternoon after stopping to investigate a pickup truck with its doors open outside the home.
The sheriff says the deputies then noticed a strong odor of propane coming from the home and found the woman dead in a bedroom with the windows to the home shut.
