OKLAHOMA CITY — The mothers of two Oklahoma teenagers handed out public, and hot, punishment after their sons were caught after sneaking out of their homes.

Holly Scoggins and Amanda Hancock had their sons standing on a street corner in Skiatook holding signs reading part “I think I’m grown ... the cops took me home,” and “Got me a ride home from the cops.” after the boys were brought home by police about 3:40 a.m. Saturday.

Scoggins said the boys were spending the night at her home when she went to bed about midnight Friday and locked her doors. She says she was awakened by police bringing both boys to her home about 3:40 a.m. Saturday.

The boys held the signs for about six hours as the temperature peaked at 94 degrees.
