COWETA, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says two people were killed when their motorcycle crashed into an SUV in Wagoner County.
The highway patrol says the wreck happened late Sunday on 353rd East Avenue north of Coweta. A preliminary report says 64-year-old Kenneth Gray and 52-year-old Jacquelyn Waid were driving north on a motorcycle when Gray left the road, overcorrected and crashed into an oncoming SUV.
The highway patrol says both Gray and Waid were pronounced dead at the scene. Both were from Broken Arrow.
The highway patrol says a 7-year-old Coweta girl who was a passenger in the SUV was taken to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition with a head injury. The driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries.
