Pedestrian struck on Lindsey Street

The Norman Transcript

NORMAN — A male pedestrian in his early to mid 20s was hit by a car traveling westbound in the outside lane of traffic at the 1200 block of east Lindsey around 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

The pedestrian was struck and went up over the hood and smashed the windshield, according to Lt. Eric Lehenbauer.

“When officers arrived he was conscious,” Lehenbauer said.

Officers could smell alcohol on the pedestrian. He was transported to Norman Regional Hospital.

The matter is still under investigation.
