NORMAN — Oklahoma picked up another commitment for its 2014 recruiting class Friday. Scottsdale (Ariz.) Desert Mountain senior wide receiver Mark Andrews gave his pledge to the Sooners after visiting the OU campus Friday.
The 6-foot-6, 240-pound receiver is a four-star recruit with Rivals.com, the No. 9 wide receiver in the 2014 class and 71st best player. He weighed offers from Notre Dame, Alabama and Ohio State among others before picking the Sooners.
Andrews is the 12th player to give his verbal pledge to OU for the 2014 signing class. All verbal commitments are non-binding. Players cannot sign national letters of intent until Feb. 5.
