NORMAN — An Oklahoma City teen was shot in Moore early Sunday morning and later died after being transported to the OU Medical Center.

Brajuan Napoleon, 16, of Del City, was arrested Sunday and booked into Cleveland County Jail on a first-degree murder complaint, said Moore police Sgt. Jeremy Lewis.

Officers received a call of shots fired around 12:45 a.m. Sunday when they found the 17-year-old male shot once in the chest at 105 Kelly Drive, Lewis said.

Napoleon requested an attorney and has not spoken to police so the incident is being further investigated at this time, Lewis said. Napoleon will be tried as an adult.

The victim’s name is being withheld pending next to kin notification.
