Internet believers: Pastors open online churches
Church volunteers greet visitors entering the lobby. The worship band begins its set and a pastor offers to pray privately with anyone during the service.

St. Joseph's sets 87th annual Thanksgiving dinner
St. Joseph's Catholic Church will have its 87th annual Thanksgiving dinner 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 15. Tickets are available in the parish office.
Parish members also are invited to "Stuff the Bus" by bringing non-perishable food items for Norman's Christmas Store through Nov.
Making room for everyone
Several staff and members from Norman's St. Stephen's United Methodist Church attended the recent Reconciling Ministries Network Convocation in Estes Park, Colo.
The convocation is put on annually by RMN, a national grassroots organization dedicated to enabling full participation of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities in the life of the United Methodist Church.
NorthHaven tabs art show winners
Gala Van Eaton's collage "Go Ye" has been selected as the Purchase Prize Award winner in the NorthHaven Society for the Sacred Arts' first Sacred Arts Exhibition and Contest at NorthHaven Church.
Van Eaton received a cash award and trophy, and her piece will become a permanent part of the church's sacred arts collection.
Speaker to focus on song
Dr. Mary Louise Bringle will speak at the Kuntz Lecture Series, given Sunday and Monday at Memorial Presbyterian Church, 601 24th Avenue SW.
Dr. Bringle, who will address the theme "Sing a New Song -- and Some Good Old Ones, Too," is the chair of the Humanities Division at Brevard College in Brevard, N.

Wednesday is Veterans Day and we will thankfully remember those who gave their lives so we can enjoy freedom in the United States of America. Many of us will put our flags out on our homes that day.
