Spiritual Living

Dean Daubenspeck will present “Achieving Higher Consciousness.” He will incorporate some of the writings of author Richard Lynch from “Know Thyself” and share his personal journey from understanding to knowing.

NorthHaven Church

Dr. Mitch Randall will continue the sermon series “Villains in the Pew” with the message “Darth Vader: Consumed with Hate,” from 1 John 2:7-11. The children will have time with the pastor as they discover what is inside the mystery bag. The choir will sing “Here I Am Lord,” by Daniel L. Schutte and arranged by Jack Schrader.

South Canadian Valley Church of Christ

Sunday, Bruce Kessler will continue a series on the “Seven Last Statements of Christ from the Cross.” His topic will be “Suffering — I thirst.”

Trinity Baptist Church

Senior Pastor Ronnie W. Rogers will speak on “Why Believe Scripture is True.” In the evening service, he will speak on “Why Jesus is Better.”

Trinity Lutheran Church (LC-MS)

On the 12 Sunday after Pentecost, the sermon by Pastor Nehrenz will be titled “Inheriting Eternal Life” based on Mark 10:17-22.

United Church of Norman — UCC

“Let’s Be Sure the Poor are Included in What the Kingdom Does” is the title of the message to be delivered by the Rev. Warren Jensen. The scripture will come from Mark 10:17-31. 

University Lutheran Church and Student Center (ELCA)

Pastor Summerville’s sermon will be based on Mark 10:17-31. The youth gathering stockholders’ dinner will be at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Victory Church

Senior Pastor Fred Sellers plans to preach a sermon titled “Here I Am — Signed, Sealed, Delivered — I’m Yours,” from 2 Corinthians 3:1-3.

Wildwood Community Church

Teaching Pastor Bruce A. Hess will speak on part 4, “Practicing Prayer” of the series, “Braced For Battle,” from Ephesians 6:18-20.
