Two Timothy 3:1-5 reveals a sad state of affairs: “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self — control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God — having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.” Sounds an awful lot like the day and age we live in right now. Just sayin’ ...
I wonder if some day in the not-too-distant future some people will walk through a museum and see artifacts from this day and age encased in glass.
And I wonder if some child will turn to their parent and ask, “Mommy, what’s that?”
And their parent will respond with, “Oh, it’s just a Bible. People used to read that book a long time ago. They called themselves Christians, and they used to believe in something called God ...”
