The Rev. Linda Harker (sanctuary services) will preach a sermon titled “Three Little Words” with scripture from Jeremiah 1:4-10. The Rev. Randy Wade (Lifeline service in Fenn Hall) will preach a sermon titled “Worth Dying For” with scripture from Matthew 16:24-26.

Memorial Presbyterian Church

Sunday, the Rev. Tracy Evans’ message will be “Too Familiar” based on 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 and Luke 4:21-30. Celebration of the Lord’s Supper also will be observed.

Morning Star Center for

Spiritual Living

Linda McDonald, actor, director and author, will speak on the topic, “Growing the Soul through the Arts.”

NorthHaven Church

Sunday, Dr. R. Mitch Randall will bring the message “Noisy Gongs, Clanging Cymbals and Loving Acts,” from 1 Corinthians 13:1-13. The choir will sing “We Shall Mount Up With Wings Like Eagles,” by Anna Laura Page. The children will spend a moment in the service with Pastor Mitch as they discover together what is inside the mystery bag.

St. Stephen’s United

Methodist Church

Sunday, the Rev. Amy Venable’s sermon will be “All He Wanted to Do Was Bring Peace,” from Luke 4:21-30. Holy Communion will be served at both services.

Sunday, David Robinson will be the speaker.

Trinity Baptist Church

Sunday, Senior Pastor Ronnie W. Rogers will speak on “Ministry That Matters.” Sunday night, he will speak from Hebrews on “The Preeminence of the New Covenant.”

Trinity Lutheran Church (LC-MS)

For the fourth Sunday after the Epiphany, the sermon by Vicar Aaron Uphoff will be titled, “The Purpose of Christ” based on Luke 4:31-44. Teens will sell Superbowl subs on Sunday as a fundraiser for their servant events.

United Church of Norman — UCC

“Kindness Could Lead Us to Greater Hope” will be the sermon delivered by the Rev. Warren Jensen. The scriptural text will come from Isaiah 35:3-10.

University Christian Church

Sunday, Pastor Dr. James Taylor will continue the series “Lessons From Solomon” titled “A Lesson About Church,” from 2 Chronicles 7:11-22.
