NORMAN — ‘The Mystery of Calvary’ to be presented

Fresh Start Community Church, 309 N. Eastern in Moore, will host “The Mystery of Calvary” a 1920s rendition of the Easter story.

The evening will include desserts as individuals travel back in time to follow Detective Qualm’s murder investigation of a John Doe (Jesus). The mystery will be revealed at 6:30 p.m. March 29 and March 30.

Tickets will be on sale until Tuesday. Reserved ticket prices are $7-$10. Childcare is available for children 6 years and under (by reservation only).

All proceeds will go to the mission fund.

Church to host wild onion dinner today

A wild onion dinner will be from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. today at Norman First American United Methodist Church, 1950 Beaumont Drive.

Cost for the all-you-can-eat dinner is $10 for adults, kids 10 and under eat for $5 and students with ID can eat for $7.

Fifth Friday

Fish Fry tonight

The St. Joseph Knights of Columbus will hold its Fifth Friday Fish Fry from 5:30 to 8:30 tonight at the parish center gym, 421 E. Acres St.  

Members of the public are welcome to enjoy deep-fried cod fish, baked tilapia, hush puppies, coleslaw, potato salad or fries, dessert and beverages.

The requested donation is $7 per adult, $4 per child or a maximum donation of $20 per family.
