NORMAN — Fine art by local artists will be offered at the Valentine Art Market and will feature jewelry, wearable art, prints and paintings, fused glass art, ceramics, knitted ware, sculpture, paper art, books and more.

The market will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the West Wind Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 1309 W. Boyd St.

Live music will be provided by Norman artist Jahruba, who also will offer handmade African masks. There also will be performances by Norman Belly Dance. Massage by donation will be offered by GR8 Massage Spa, and local artists include Sharon Farris and author Susan Cogan.

“The market is a wonderful opportunity to find unique handmade gifts for that special someone and support local arts.” said Ed Kearns, event coordinator.

Guests are asked to bring donations of canisters of Kool-Aid, microwave popcorn or individually wrapped snacks for Bethesda Inc., a Norman non-profit agency that has provided treatment and healing to sexually abused children for more than 30 years.
