NORMAN — Lent service

The next Norman Ministerial Fellowship’s Lenten service will be at noon on Wednesday at First Christian Church, 220 S. Webster Ave. The Rev. Amy Venable, St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church, will deliver the sermon “I Am Thirsty.”

Services will conclude by 12:35 p.m. with a fellowship lunch provided afterward for the cost of $5. An offering will be taken at each service to benefit Among Friends. The services will continue through March 27.

Church to host

Sunday speaker

Marilyn Harper will speak at 11 a.m. Sunday at Unity Of Norman, 3001 S. Berry Road.

Harper will speak on “Putting On the B.L.I.S.S,” a transformational talk about what it really means to Believe Life Is Simply Spiritual. The inter-active program presents the audience with practical tools for living the bliss-filled life.

Benefit breakfast Sunday

St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 1601 W. Imhoff Road, will offer a benefit breakfast between services on Sunday at 10 a.m.

All donations will be a love offering in honor of organist Clyde Morris.
