NORMAN — Church bazaar today, Saturday

Noble United Methodist Church, 204 N. Main St. in Noble, will host a church bazaar and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Lunch will be served both days from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call 872-3913 for to-go orders.

Knife and scissors sharpening also will be done on site.

ULCSC to host Thanksgiving dinner

An annual tradition for almost 50 years will continue at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday for University Lutheran Church and Student Center, 914 Elm Ave., when the church hosts its Thanksgiving banquet.

What began as a Thanksgiving meal for the University of Oklahoma students unable to go home for the holiday, it continues today in an expanded format. An auction of items made or donated by members provides the evening’s entertainment, the proceeds of which benefit the church’s continuing mission to build water wells in Tanzania.

Trinity Lutheran to host Thanksgiving Day service

Trinity Lutheran Church, 603 Classen Blvd., will host a Thanksgiving Day worship service at 10 a.m.

The service will feature hymns, lessons and psalms in thanks for church, home and country.

St. John’s hosts fall market, bake sale

St. John’s Episcopal Church, 235 W. Duff St., will host a fall market and bake sale today and Saturday.

The event will feature more than 30 vendors and will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Items included in the fall market are jewelry, holiday decor, bird houses, photography, quilts, stained glass and more.
