NORMAN — FBC family block party Sunday

First Baptist Church, 211 W. Comanche St., will host its sixth annual First Family Block Party from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday.

The event will include inflatables, door prizes, a costume contest and food tickets will be available for purchase.

Annual bazaar to be held at Goodrich

Angels Unlimited, a craft sale and bazaar, will be held Nov. 2-3 at Goodrich Methodist Church, 200 W. Hayes St.

The event will feature a variety of handcrafts and products from more than 20 local vendors.

Proceeds from the event will go toward mission projects and scholarships for church youth.

Hours are from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Nov. 2, and from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Nov. 3.

Dance Meditation tonight in Norman

Dance Meditation, a moving form of mediation, will be at 7 tonight at the West Wind Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 1309 W. Boyd St.

A $5 donation is requested for admission.

The music will be a medley of Middle Eastern, African, Celtic and Soul. No experience is necessary, all levels welcome. Children 12 and older also are welcome when accompanied by an adult.

Church collects winter coats

The St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church is collecting cold-weather clothing and bedding for clients of Food and Shelter and victims of the recent Cleveland County wildfires. New and gently used coats, hats, gloves, socks, bedding and blankets are needed.  

Donations can be left in the St. Joseph’s Parish Center foyer, 421 E. Acres St., through Nov. 9.

NorthHaven to visit museum

Members of NorthHaven Church will leave after Sunday services to visit an art show, “Cowboy Crossings,” at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.  A buffet lunch will be available for $10.49 per person and admission to the museum is $12.50 (seniors admission is $9.75 and children 4-12 are admitted for $5.75).
