The Tigers are as healthy as they’ve been all season, while North coach Wade Standley said junior linebackers Trevor and Trace Magee are “banged-up” and will be game-time decisions.
Noble goes for second shutout: Noble is off to its best start in a decade at 2-0, and they’re looking to add another milestone to that mark.
It had been five years since Noble shut out an opponent before they accomplished the feat against Western Heights, and the Bears are hoping to post their first back-to-back shutouts in recent memory when they face off against El Reno this week.
“El Reno has improved a lot, and we’re going to have to play well to win,” coach Steve Barrett said.
Cross country travels to Edmond: A week after the Norman North girls’ cross country team dominated the OKRunner Classic, both Tigers and Timberwolves are headed to Edmond Santa Fe for a 3 p.m. meet on Friday.
The meet also features all three schools from Moore in addition to several other teams from across the state, giving both teams an opportunity to see where they stack up against the state’s top teams.
