Coach Matt Thornton was pleased with the way Grantham performed, and he was clearly satisfied with the way his rotations played out after the Tigers rolled to a 84-57 win over a Moore team they lost to earlier in the season.
“Things started to click and the kids played phenomenal tonight,” he said. “We’ve just got to keep this thing rolling.”
As for Grantham, he’s looking to continue improving. After a year of hoping just to get on the floor, he’s now looking forward to a deep playoff run, one he figures to be a vital part of.
“This win boosted my confidence and our confidence as a team a lot,” he said. “But we can’t take a break. We’ve got to keep bringing the energy to practice.”
