NORMAN — Norman High

Boys

Record: 9-12

Last week: NHS lost to Edmond Memorial on Tuesday and Friday defeated Del City.

This week: The Tigers close out the regular season with a trip to Westmoore on Tuesday before hosting Norman North on Friday.

Outlook: The Tigers put up a good showing against second-ranked Edmond Memorial before an impressive victory over Del City. With another good week, NHS could get rolling just in time for the postseason.

Girls

Record: 8-13

Last week: The Tigers dropped two games to Edmond Memorial and Del City.

This week: The Tigers have split games with Westmoore so far this season, and travel there Tuesday for the rubber match before hosting North on Friday.

Outlook: The Tigers have come a long way since the first Clash of the year, and Friday will be a huge opportunity for NHS to get a win over their crosstown rivals and enter regionals on a high note.

Norman North

Boys

Record: 9-12

Last week: Dropped a pair of games to Westmoore and Edmond Memorial.

This week: The T-Wolves host Southmoore on Tuesday and Friday travel to NHS.

Outlook: North played one of its better halves of the year in the first half against second-ranked Memorial on Friday, and one of its worst in the second. They have one week left to try and find some consistency before entering the playoffs.

Girls

Record: 15-6

Last week: The T-Wolves defeated Westmoore on Tuesday and Edmond Memorial on Friday.

This week: Fourth-ranked Southmoore visits Tuesday before North heads to NHS for the Crosstown Clash.

Outlook: North rebounded nicely last week after a tough stretch. Tuesday's game against No. 4 Southmoore will be a litmus test for the Timberwolves after dropping a 45-33 decision two weeks ago, and the Clash on Friday will be a charged atmosphere a week before North hosts a regional.
