A number of players were also named to the all-district team. Bryan Payne, Channing Meyer, Keaton Haney, D.J. Gasso, Zeke Burns, Preston Couch, Jack Davis, Lavonte Doxey, Justin Martin, and Corbin Cleveland were all named to the district team.

In District 6A-4, NHS quarterback Zach Long was named one of two players named co-offensive players of the year. Zach Uhles was named co-offensive lineman of the year, and Blake Dean was named linebacker of the year.

Freshman makes impact at North: Norman North’s Marcus Dickinson produced one of the best freshman introductions in some time last week, coming up with two big games for the Timberwolves.

Dickinson was forced to wait an extra week to start the season after North’s football team’s run to the state championship pushed the season state date back a week. But he made up for time lost in games against Moore and Westmoore.
