LOS ANGELES —
Griffin paced the Clippers with 25 points and nine rebounds despite being in foul trouble. Paul added 23 points and 10 assists. Crawford and Collison each scored 18 points off the bench.
Durant had a game-high 40 points on 12-for-24 shooting. He hit 15 of his 18 free throw attempts, but turned the ball over eight times. Westbrook scored 27 points to go with six rebounds and eight assists.
For the first time this postseason, Oklahoma City was outrebounded 45-43. Along with the 16 turnovers, those numbers helped lead to them coming apart in the fourth quarter.
“Every loss is tough to swallow,” Durant said. “We got to have a quick turnaround. We got our next game in a couple of days. We’ve got to turn the page quickly.”
