Pouring herself into the game By Scott MooreThe Norman Transcript It’s only natural that Williams would be so involved in the sport. Both her parents play, as do her sister and brother. Williams is thinking long term. She hopes to play in college and after that, possibly turn pro.
“I’ve been around the sport a long time,” She said. “I used to play a lot of other sports, but I narrowed it down to tennis. “It would be great to win because this is such a big event. But really, it’s just fun to be out there playing. Either way, win or lose, I’m still a winner.” Scott Moore 366-3535 sports@normantranscript.com
