NORMAN — The Big 12 Conference announced Monday that the dates for two Oklahoma road games have been changed.
The Sooners game at Tulsa has been moved up two weeks to Sept. 6. They will now open Big 12 play a week earlier than initially scheduled, with their game at West Virginia now slated for Sept. 20.
Oklahoma opens its 2014 schedule at home vs. Louisiana Tech on Aug. 30 before an in-state trip to Tulsa on Sept. 6. The Tulsa contest will be broadcast by ABC, ESPN or ESPN2. The Sooners face
Southeastern Conference opponent Tennessee at Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium on Sept. 13.
The schedule change means OU will have an open week before its game at TCU Oct. 4.
The only question marks that still remains on OU’s 2014 schedule is when it will play at Iowa State and when Oklahoma State will come to Owen Field.
The game against the Cyclones will either be Oct. 30 or Nov. 1 at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa. Bedlam will be Nov. 29 or Dec. 6.
