NORMAN — Norman North remained a perfect 10-0 in district play with their second straight win over Lawton Eisenhower. After beating Ike 11-1 Monday, the Timberwolves turned around and hammered the Eagles 13-1 Tuesday night.
Eisenhower had a quick lead, 1-0, after the first inning but Norman North opened it up with five runs in the second, and five more in the third. The T-Wolves secured the run-rule with three runs in the fourth inning.
Coltin Hansmeyer, Joe Nostrand, Leo Gallegos and Ryan McDaniel had extra base hits, as the T-Wolves outslugged the Eagles 12-3. Shelby Garza worked four innings for the win. North opens play Thursday in the Deer Creek Classic with a noon game against Red Oak.
