TULSA — The Oklahoma Air National Guard says about 300 members of the 138th Fighter Wing are set to return home from a deployment to Afghanistan.
The airmen are to be welcomed with a ceremony starting at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Tulsa Air National Guard Base.
During their deployment the airmen with the 138th provided close air support to NATO combat personnel.
Maj. Gen. Myles Deering — the adjutant general for the Oklahoma National Guard — and 138th Fighter Wing commander Col. David Burgy are to address the airmen during the welcome home ceremony.
