DALLAS — The FBI has launched billboards in five states encouraging people to come forward with information about the slayings of Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland, his wife, Cynthia, and Assistant DA Mark Hasse.

The billboards, posted throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi and New Mexico, encourage tipsters to call Crime Stoppers.

The space was donated by the Outdoor Advertising Association of Texas, which includes Clear Channel Outdoor and Lamar Advertising.

Nobody has been arrested in the McLellands’ weekend slayings at their Forney home, nor in Hasse’s Jan. 31 shooting death outside the Kaufman courthouse. Forney is 20 miles east of Dallas, while Kaufman is about 30 miles southeast of Dallas.

A $200,000 reward is offered for tips leading to convictions.
