No damage reported after earthquakes hit Edmond

EDMOND — More earthquakes have been reported in the Edmond area.

The latest is a 3.0 magnitude quake recorded by the U.S. Geological Survey at 3:15 p.m. Monday about 6 miles northeast of Edmond and about 18 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.

It comes after the USGS recorded a 3.3 magnitude earthquake in the same area about 5 a.m. Monday.

Another earthquake was reported near Edmond about 12 hours earlier at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Preliminary USGS data show that earthquake had a magnitude of 3.4 and was centered about 4 miles north-northeast of Edmond. The Sunday earthquake had a depth of 3.3 miles.

No damage or injuries have reported, though many residents reported feeling the rumbling.
