Mercy to close Wal-Mart clinics

OKLAHOMA CITY — Mercy Clinic officials say clinics in three Oklahoma City area Wal-Marts will close due to a lack of patients.

Mercy Clinic Chief Operating Officer Pat Patton told The Oklahoman that the clinic in west Edmond will close July 31 and two clinics in northwest Oklahoma City will close Aug. 31. Patton says the 16 employees of the three clinics will be offered jobs at other Mercy locations.
